Keith Larson Joins Workforce Management Software Provider Monet Software as EVP of Sales

March 25, 2010

Keith Larson, formerly with Avaya (News - Alert) and Lucent Technologies, has joined Monet Software Inc., a provider of cloud-based call center workforce management software, as executive vice president sales.

In his new role, Larson will help grow the company in response to the increasing demand for cloud and SaaS (News - Alert)-based call center workforce management solutions.

“I am very excited to join Monet Software as a key member of the leadership team,” Larson said in a release. “Cloud computing is revolutionizing how call centers will increase efficiencies and I am looking forward to helping call centers in the US and around the globe achieve these efficiencies with Monet’s workforce management solution.”

Larson headed Avaya’s contact center division which has held market leadership in IVR, Dialer, ACD, CTI (News - Alert) and multi-channel contact center solutions across many worldwide regions. There he was responsible for managing market definition and segmentation, product management, research and development, channel readiness and product commercialization processes for the company’s portfolio.

Previously he served as VP of worldwide global strategy and mergers and acquisitions for Lucent Technologies' Enterprise Division. He also served as EVP/CFO for Quadritek Systems prior to it being acquired by Lucent. In addition he served as a management team member at Astea, which he helped take public.

“We are very fortunate to have Keith as a key member of our company with his strong background in the call center industry,” said Chuck Ciarlo, CEO of Monet Software. “Our current and future customers will truly benefit from his leadership and expertise as we grow our business.”

Monet Software made news earlier this week when it announced that it had launched a new blog on its Web site.

The new blog, “Call Center Workforce Management,” will share tips, tricks and best practices about call center forecasting, scheduling and workforce management.

The blog will also help boost the presence of the company’s recently redesigned Web site, which includes a demo of its flagship product, Monet WFM Live, as well as other resources, including a Workforce Management Success Kit that includes several informative white papers.

Monet Software will be presenting a free webinar, “How to End Your Spreadsheet Scheduling Headache Now,” for company managers who want to learn more about how workforce management software can improve call center operations. The webinar is to be held at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT), Thursday, April 8, 2010. To register for this free webinar, click here.
