Glassdoor Recognizes Ceridian as a 2019 Employees' Choice Award Winner

Ceridian, a global human capital management (HCM) technology company, today announced it has been awarded with a Glassdoor Employees' Choice Award for the 4th consecutive year, recognizing the Top 25 Best Places to Work in Canada in 2019. The recognition is based solely on employee feedback provided on Glassdoor, one of the world's largest job and recruiting sites.

Ceridian was chosen as a Top 25 Employer from nearly 45,000 Canadian companies listed on Glassdoor. Glassdoor acknowledges employers holding the highest ratings for employee satisfaction, career growth, compelling salary and benefits, positive workplace culture, inspiring leadership, and an attractive work-life balance.

"We want our people to feel heard, respected, valued, and - quite simply - really enjoy their work lives," said Leagh Turner, President, Ceridian. "That can only happen when leadership listens. It's a delight to know our employees made Ceridian one of the best places to work in Canada and we're honoured to receive such a prestigious award."

"In today's highly competitive labour market, job seekers are in the driver's seat when it comes to deciding where to work and they want to know the inner workings of a company before accepting a new job," said Dr. Andrew Chamberlain, Glassdoor Chief Economist. "To help people find the best jobs and companies, the Glassdoor Employees' Choice Awards recognize employers who are at the top of their game."

This recognition adds to Ceridian Canada's people and culture award recognitions including: Canada's Top 100 Employers, Great Places to Work Certification, Best Workplace for Millennials, and Best Place to Work in Technology.

"At Ceridian we listen to our people fearlessly, asking them questions to inspire authentic sharing," said Lisa Sterling, Chief People and Culture Officer, Ceridian. "The genuine feedback we receive from tools like Glassdoor is invaluable as it provides us with the insight required to drive even more positive cultural change."

About Glassdoor's Best Places to Work

Glassdoor's Best Places to Work were determined using company reviews shared by Canada-based employees between October 23, 2017 and October 21, 2018. To be considered for the Canada category, a company must have at least 1,000 employees and have received at least 25 ratings across each of the eight workplace attributes from Canada-based employees during the period of eligibility. The final list is compiled using Glassdoor's proprietary algorithm, led by its Economic Research Team, and takes into account quantity, quality and consistency of reviews.
