Leading IP Lawyer Edward H. Sadtler Joins Schulte Roth & Zabel


Schulte Roth & Zabel (SRZ) announces the addition of Edward H. Sadtler as a partner and head of the Intellectual Property, Sourcing & Technology Group, resident in the New York office. Mr. Sadtler comes to SRZ from Kirkland & Ellis, where he was a partner in the technology and IP transactions practice.

Mr. Sadtler represents clients in a wide variety of transactions and matters involving intellectual property, technology, privacy and data security. Specifically, he has counseled clients in the areas of licensing, intellectual property transfers, IT services, joint ventures and strategic alliances, consulting, publicity rights, trademark prosecution, and manufacturing, distribution and supply arrangements. Working closely with cross-practice teams, Mr. Sadtler has advised on the intellectual property, technology and data security aspects of mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, carve-outs, financings, securitizations, public offerings and restructurings. His experience covers many industries, including financial services, health care, software, cybersecurity, apparel and accessories, travel, hospitality, media, entertainment, energy, logistics and communications.
