ActivTrak Recognized in Four 2022 Gartner® Hype Cycle™ Reports

ActivTrak, a leading workforce analytics platform provider, today announced it has been recognized as a Sample Vendor in four 2022 Gartner Hype Cycle Reports. ActivTrak was named in the Hype Cycle for Human Capital Management Technologies, 20221; Hype Cycle for Digital Workplace Infrastructure and Operations, 20222; Hype Cycle for Digital Workplace Applications, 20223 and Hype Cycle for Frontline Worker Technologies, 20224.

Gartner Hype Cycles provide a graphic representation of the maturity and adoption of technologies and applications, and how they are potentially relevant to solving real business problems and exploiting new opportunities.

ActivTrak is listed as a Sample Vendor in Workstyle Analytics (High Benefit Rating) in three Hype Cycle reports, and in Employee Productivity Monitoring (Moderate Benefit Rating)1 in one Hype Cycle report.

In the Hype Cycle for HCM Technologies, 2022, Gartner notes, "Used well, insights from employee productivity monitoring can support efforts to improve organizational effectiveness, employee experience, worker well-being and working-time compliance." It also notes, "Some investments in employee productivity monitoring aim to improve how teams work by identifying workload imbalances within teams and focusing on workforce optimization. They may also seek to improve productivity through advice to leaders around how to communicate or how to better organize work."

In the Hype Cycle for Digital Workplace Applications, 2022, Gartner notes, "While many organizations are making significant investments in digital workplace and business transformation initiatives, most are not collecting data on or are unable to effectively measure the impact of their efforts. With workstyle analytics, digital workplace leaders are able to justify additional investments required to scale new technology and improve personal and team effectiveness, often using behavioral science mechanisms."

"Combining data from ActivTrak's workforce analytics platform, which leverages flexibility, open APIs and data science, with other business and employee experience metrics improves workforce wellness, business efficiencies and outcomes for individuals and companies," said ActivTrak's Chief Product Officer, Ramon Chen. "To us, being named in four Gartner Hype Cycles this year is an acknowledgment of our efforts, and we look forward to helping our 9,000-plus customers around the world optimize their workforce analytics investment across hybrid, in-office and remote workplaces."
