CALABASAS, Calif., March 7, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Workforce management software provider ExakTime received a Silver Stevie® Award in the Computer Software category in the 13th annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service.
ExakTime garnered a silver designation in the category of Customer Service Department of the Year - Computer Software - 100 or More Employees while competing with such tech industry stalwarts as Periscope Data, Intuit and Marketo.
The Stevie Awards were established in 2002 and are among the world's most widely recognized business awards, recognizing all facets of achievement in the workplace.
"We are thrilled and humbled to have won a Silver Stevie Award in recognition of our nonstop efforts to care for our customers," says ExakTime Director of Customer Success Tom Zeliff. "ExakTime has always put great customer care at the top of our list and it's gratifying to get such high-profile recognition."
Zeliff attributed ExakTime's win in part to the seamless U.S.-based support offered during the company's transition from an on-premises software provider to a SaaS-based platform.
"Our product support and onboarding teams have excelled in efficiently scaling to accommodate the rapid growth of users in our SaaS platform without sacrificing the individual customer care and attention we are known for," Zeliff stated.
Support cases brought by active ExakTime Connect customers — those using the cloud software — saw a steady decline between September 2017 and October 2018, and ExakTime's customer satisfaction (CSAT) score from Zendesk finishedone-tenth of a percent below the stated goal of 98 percent.
Apart from the recent shift to a SaaS business model, Zeliff stressed that ExakTime has always placed a premium on excellent service and support to our customers. "ExakTime believes the customer support experience begins as soon as the customer first contacts us," he said, "and this ongoing relationship is just as important as the product experience."
More than 2,700 nominations from organizations in 45 nations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were evaluated in this year's competition. Winners were determined by the average scores of more than 150 professionals worldwide in seven specialized judging committees. Entries were considered in 93 categories for customer service and contact center achievements.
"All of the Stevie Award winners should be very proud of their achievements. Independent professionals around the world have agreed that their accomplishments are worthy of public recognition," said Stevie Awards President and founder Michael Gallagher.
