Fieldglass Scores High for Workforce Management

By Madhubanti Rudra, Workforce Management Contributor

When it comes to hiring and managing their contingent workforce, companies of all sizes and across the industries, are relying on VMS technology and services. With this, the VMS space is becoming increasingly competitive and making it challenging for buyers to find the most suitable VMS provider to support their long term business strategies. A recent research report from Forrester (News - Alert) provided a glimpse of the VMS landscape. In this report, Forrester named Fieldglass as the highest-scoring VMS provider in Contingent Workforce Management/Vendor Management System (CWM/VMS) functionality and market presence.

Based on as many as 85 evaluating criteria and a customer survey, the research report awarded ranking to several VMS providers. The effort is intended to guide buyers in their search for the right partner for their contingent workforce and SOW/services procurement software needs.

The report also found that customers want a, “VMS to be excellent in both contingent and SOW/project capabilities.”

Complete with innovative benchmarking features, the Fieldglass VMS solution makes an ideal solution for customers seeking more rigorous tracking of ROI from their contingent labor/services procurement efforts.

The report also called Fieldglass’ overall capabilities in contingent staffing and SOW/project “very strong.”

Fieldglass is reportedly the largest and most geographically adopted solution evaluated in The Forrester Wave. Used by customers in 101 countries, and thanks to a deep understanding about various aspects of the contingency workforce markets across Asia and Europe, Fieldglass’ solution had an edge over their competitors in these markets.

“The needs of the VMS buyer have evolved and matured in the last 18 months in particular, making it more important than ever to seek out the best long-term technology partner. Vendor evaluations like The Forrester Wave allow prospective buyers to assess the VMS landscape and recognize key distinctions between providers in terms of both current product capabilities and future strategic direction,” said CEO Jai Shekhawat in a statement.
