Talkmap Secures $8 Million In Series A Funding
According to a recent article by VentureBeat, conversation analysis platform developer Talkmap recently revealed it secured $8 million in new funding after completing a Series A investment round.
Understanding customer sentiments is critical for business growth in the digital age. With the bulk of business interactions taking place through digital channels, including social media, SMS, and video conferencing, companies of all shapes and sizes now have the data resources needed to improve customers' experiences on a massive scale.
Talkmap is making this process easier for companies with significant amounts of raw customer data. By utilizing Talkmap’s AI-enhanced platform, Talkdiscovery, businesses can easily consolidate detailed information from customer conversations to understand how customers feel, giving agents the necessary insights to create better experiences in the future. While similar platforms and solutions are currently available from brands like Genesys (News - Alert) and Five9, the Talkmap platform differs by processing data in real time with the support of machine learning.
The Series A round was led by Stage 1 Ventures, and brings Talkmap’s total capital to $17.6 million. Talkmap’s new funding will primarily be used to further enhance the Talkdiscovery platform, and accelerate growth plans into new territories across North America.
Talkmap CEO Tim Moss told VentureBeat, “Our priorities in 2022 will be investing in our platform capabilities and integrations with our partners, expanding our team for our CCaaS GTM strategy, and sales/marketing investment to scale with our customers and partners heading into 2023,”
