WFM Provider Connecteam to Give Free Access to Its App to Small Businesses
Small businesses are facing critical times. They are coping with economic turbulence and rising prices due to inflation, the continuing effects of a pandemic and personnel shortages in a tight labor environment. Many companies are running with what’s known as “deskless workplaces,” as a majority of workers log in from home or remote locations. One of the most critical elements of management – tracking the workforce to understand how and when they are working – becomes even more difficult than usual.
The good news is that remote workforce management has advanced as a technology by leaps and bounds. These solutions help companies of all sizes and across multiple industries – from small mom-and-pop shops to Fortune 500 firms in such industries as construction, security, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, restaurant & hospitality and others -- improve how they manage and engage their deskless workers on the frontlines.
Now, one company says it plans to make its solution available for small businesses at no cost. New York- and Tel Aviv-based workforce management solutions provider Connecteam announced its all-in-one app will be available for free or small businesses of up to 10 employees. By providing free access to its deskless workforce management app (estimated value: $4,000 per year) the company says it is forgoing tens of millions of dollars in revenue at a time when other workforce management companies have been raising their prices for small businesses.
“Over the past six years, we had the privilege of supporting thousands of small businesses around the globe,” said Amir Nehemia, CEO and co-founder of Connecteam. “We saw how challenging it is to run a small business during these uncertain times. COVID-19 didn’t make life easier and the current market conditions aren’t helping either. That’s why we decided to help where we can and support small businesses further by providing them with a substantial toolkit for free.”
Nehemia noted that by giving Connecteam’s full set of capabilities for free, the company can aid small business owners, who will be free to focus on running their organizations while having the peace of mind that comes from effective team management.
