HR.com Educates With Workforce Management Online Certification Program
The Workforce Management Online Certification Program, developed by HR.com's Institute for Human Resources (IHR), has just completed its first year of offering specialized HR education for workforce management.
The program granted more than 3,900 credits to attendees since launching in February 2011. With 72 webcast sessions majoring in workforce management topics offered this past year, the IHR accreditation requirement of 60 credits is within reach through live viewing and archives. The next virtual workforce management conference registration is open and will be held this week, followed by events in June and September.
"HR.com has put together a one-stop shop location for all things workforce management. For the Workforce Management Professional, this is an excellent resource. The web seminars hit home on a wide range of topics that matter in today’s rapidly changing WFM landscape,” said John W. Frehse, Chief Strategist, Core Practice LLC, in a press release.
HR.com is a virtual company that believes in HR education, and networking. As the largest social network and online community of over 200,000 HR executives, HR.com connects HR professionals and suppliers with easy access to shared knowledge on best practices, industry news, webcasts, and online certification.
The certification and accreditation process for the workforce management program is developed through an independent Advisory Board composed of industry experts who are responsible for guiding the design of the curriculum, and ensuring that the material is impactful and relevant in today's business conditions.
"Effectively managing the workforce can be a very daunting and complex – yet imperative – undertaking," said Peter Broderick, vice president of educational services, Kronos (News - Alert) Incorporated. "HR.com's stellar curriculum of workforce management sessions is designed to help professionals be as savvy as possible about effectively managing the workforce, which aligns with Kronos' belief that workforce management doesn't have to be so hard.”
The IHR focuses on education, online certification, and career development in the HR profession covering 20 HR verticals ranging from workforce management, rewards and recognition, RPO, quality of hire, integrated talent management to employee wellness, and others. Each program provides a full list of education, virtual events, and accredited certification courses for a 12-18 month period.
