Abaqus and 1Shop Wireless Launch Mobile Workforce Management Service for T-Mobile
Abaqus, a provider of cloud-based location and messaging platform for workforce management and asset management, announced partnership with 1Shop Wireless, a master agent for T-Mobile (News - Alert) USA, to develop cloud-based myGeoTracking mobile workforce management service for T-Mobile customers.
The partnership leverages Abaq.us myGeoTracking platform to provide a cloud-hosted workforce and asset management solution enabling clients to quickly and easily manage their field-personnel and assets without the need of special mobile devices, expensive data plans, cumbersome applications, or software.
Abaqus’myGeoTracking bizTeam service allows any field-force oriented T-Mobile customer to deploy a mobile workforce management solution in a simplified package. The workforce management platform combines network-derived and phone-based GPS location information with fine-grained privacy control options, location-enhanced SMS, and a powerful rules engine.

The cloud-based myGeoTracking bizTeam service does not require special GPS devices, special phones or any new software. Users can send location and event information using any standard feature phones. The service provides fine-grained privacy controls which can be managed by the end-user from their mobile phones or from the website.
The workforce management solution also comes with location-enhanced SMS (myGeoText) as well as features like Geofencing, Geo-corridors, and a variety of other events-based rules to enable easy integration of real-world alerts into a company’s workflow. Its rich reporting tools can be exported to a company’s backoffice systems.
The myGeoTracking MRM bizTeam service provides an Enterprise SMS feature that enhances customers’ dispatch and operations by messaging individuals, groups, or the whole company. The solution integrates with a range of back-office programs through a rich web API.
